In the documentary “Stepping Softly on the Earth”, three Amazonian Indigenous leaders try to keep alive their ways of being in the world while faced with threats to their lands promoted by large-scale mining, monocultures, prospectors, oil extraction, timber extraction, and the construction of hydroelectric power plants. Interwoven with the voice and thoughts of Ailton Krenak, these three stories of resistance present us with other ways of stepping softly on the earth.
